The Faithful and Wise Servant

The high point of Jesus' three parables is righteousness. He referred to the robe of righteousness, via the "wedding garment", in the Parable of the Marriage Feast, Matthew 22:11. He closed His parables speaking of "the righteous" (Matthew 25:46). Jesus' reference to the "faithful and wise servant" includes this righteousness. Now, righteousness before God and His Law could only come one way: the righteousness Christ earned and God imputed.
