When the Lord appears indifferent!

154

The sisters of Lazarus had sent word to the Lord of their brother's sickness, but the Lord delayed His arrival. When He did arrive Lazarus was already dead and buried. Both sisters said to the Lord, Lord if thou hadst been here my brother would not have died.
They fell into the snare of supposition, reasoning what might have been if the Lord had arrived sooner.
This message considers the times when the Lord's providential dealings appear to reflect an apparent indifference from the Lord towards our case.
In this great chapter the Lord shows the purpose of his seeming indifference and delay. It was an opportunity in which he displayed his:

1: Sympathy
2: Sufficiency
3: Sovereignty
