Genesis 49:1-15

Genesis 49 records the dieing words of Jacob. In these first 15 verses, he speaks of Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Zebulun and Issachar. Of course, we pay special attention to his prophecies regarding Judah in verse 8-12. Once you see the prophetical fulfillment of Jacob's prophecies, you will never read Genesis 49 the same way again. We see references that effect the history of Israel, the first coming of Messiah, the second coming of Messiah and all points in between.
