Expect Rejection

Luke shows at the beginning of Christ's ministry how He went quickly from praise and adoration to complete rejection that sought to kill Him. This would be the character of Jesus' ministry – not just the final week of His earthly ministry, when the mob instantly turned from waving palm branches and shouting "Hosannah!" to yelling "Crucify Him!" Because a servant is no greater than his Master, rejection is something that anyone who attempts to follow Christ should prepare for, in their life.
