Thanks on the Mountaintops and In the Valley

No matter what circumstance we find ourselves in, we are called to give thanks.  Sometimes this comes easily… other times it is incredibly difficult.  In abundance we easily focus on what we've been given, forgetting it is a gift from God.  In times of loss we grieve for we no longer have.  Through both of these life stages, in the good and the bad, our call as believers in Christ is to rejoice in Him.  When we learn to focus on God in every situation, we find that He is right there with us... and He helps us to come through it in victory.
