Consecration and Observance before battle

War is imminent. The people have crossed the Jordan, and are now in "enemy territory." Yet before battle, before they go to Jericho, they must prepare themselves. Not by sharpening swords and spears, but by consecration, and devotion to God. By keeping the feast and worshiping the God that brought them to this place.
