Unbelief

The writer of Hebrews asks his audience three questions in connection with the wilderness generation, however, his intention is to turn these questions upon his readers, which includes us. What he does is expose, in stark reality, the self-centered foolishness of the wilderness wonderers, but when we stop shaking our heads in pity for those blind, ignorant people, we are struck by how similar we are to them in many ways and this is why these verses are in Scripture--to admonish us.
