Cain's Offering Not Accepted? We should understand why

443 ( 395 | 48 )

We start off with a discussion on Joel, Daniel, Ecclesiastes and Revelation. We're talking about the Scriptures that teach us the correct understanding of the breath of life God gives to man and animals, and that breath, or spirit which is given, will return to Him. Is this easy? No. If it were easy, it wouldn't be written through men by God. We learn the implications of this from what can be gleaned and confirmed with Scripture.

Now we talk about the heart of David, the second King of Israel, which takes us to the second King of Eden. Yes... Adam. Nothing in Scripture is coincidence. Remember Who wrote it. Our pastor reminds us of the parallels and the two's with Saul, David and Adam. Then you have an Old Testament Saul and a New Testament Saul. Saul is renamed. So, who is the first person renamed in the Bible? That's right, Eve. And... if I were to try and keep up with where this pastor goes with all of this, you would be even more confused than I've already caused you to be.

But now we move on to Hebrews 11:4. Because you have to understand this passage in order to fully understand Genesis 4 and 3:21-22. But the understanding of the two sacrifices of Cain and Able is important stuff to know. Why? Because we have an in depth question from Gabriel, one of our astute Internet listeners, asking pastor for the correct understanding of Genesis 4. Yes, pastor Chronister has taught this before, but why should we make you try and find it among the many hundreds of lectures that are on the Internet? Just know, there is an unbelievable amount of grief here.

Okay, now our pastor says, we can start the lecture. So, I'll just shut up and let you listen.
