When the Hard Thing is a Good Thing…

"For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory, no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly... blessed is the man who trust in You." (Psalm 84:11-12)

He is the faithful believers SOURCE OF LIGHT, SHIELD OF LOVE and SUPPLY OF LIFE... and NO GOOD THING will He withhold from each of them that trust and obey Him. Yes, EVERY good thing we need, for EVERY thing we face, we are promised His grace and glory will show us and supply all we need to walk through EVERY door He opens.

Circumstances should never GOVERN or MANIPULATE or DICTATE the life of a disciple of Jesus. Though it should NEVER happen, it's unavoidable in our fallen world. And though it's inescapable, it's NEVER okay... when it happens. NO trouble or triumph affords anyone the right to be ugly for ugly's sake.

The real key to helping people: is not the common bond you have with others, going through similar circumstances as you, but the common comfort you received while going through your unique situation. And this common comfort is not a feeling or an emotion but a REVELATION. A revelation of the presence and purpose and priorities of God that transforms and eternally effects your thinking and emotions and feelings and trust and hope and love and ways of living. God doesn't comfort us in lies, falsehoods and untruths. He comforts us with revelation of Himself, His ways and His wisdom…
