A. Christ is not only the Messenger, he is the Message (Acts 3)
(1) Words of instruction ( Acts 3.18).
(2) Words of exhortation (Acts 3.19).
(3) Words of assurance (Acts 3.20-21).
(4) Words of verification (Acts 3.22).
(5) Words of threatening (Acts 3.23).

B. The inadequacy of the response that day. (verses 4.22).

III. The explanation of their sin

A. Christ alone is the great Physician (verse 23).

B. Christ alone is the great Prophet of Israel.
(1) Rejection is no proof of imposture. (verse 24).
(2) Elijah was sent to a widow of Sidon.
(3) Elisha cleansed a Syrian.

Conclusion
The sequel was not a happy one.(verses 28-30)
