Starting out

So Jacob has the birthright, the blessing, and now it is time to go get a bride. After receiving his marching orders from his father, Jacob began the seventeen day journey to his uncle Laban's house. During this time Jacob had an unexpected encounter with God. It must have been something else because Jacob understood his return trip would only happen by way of God.
