1 Peter 1 - Part 12 - Preparation for Suffering 12

As the tide turns against believers in this nation, it is good to remind ourselves of what is expected of us and what has been provided for us, so we may be prepared if and when we come under intensified persecution for Him. This is a study of the need to gird up the loins of our minds in preparation for suffering for our Lord. The lesson is that we are to be prepared in our minds for suffering for Him and our confidence is not to be in the things of this life but in the sure things of our hope in all His promises to us when He comes back for His body the church. This hope of eternal blessings in Christ prompts us to be obedient in all things. The hallmark of the believer is obedience to His Lord. This is a study of the obedience we are called on to enter into.
