A recent article in the NY Times states that genetically engineered salmon have been approved for consumption by the FDA. This makes it "the first genetically altered animal to be cleared for American supermarkets and dinner tables"

How should we think about this genre of genetic engineering?

Are there some concerns here that not only clash with a concern for healthy eating but also with Christianity itself?
