This is the first study in a series from the Book of Esther. We are introduced to the tyrant King Ahasuerus as he throws a 180 day celebration followed up with a seven day drunken feast. After his Queen Vashti refused to be paraded around in front of the King's party, he gets wroth and passes a decree to strip her of her throne and replace her.
