Joyful Praise

It's a sad thing today that we live in a culture where people don't see the need to be thankful. The children of Israel had all their needs supplied but not all of their wants. We must not only have a thankful heart in the middle of our troubles but even be thankful for our troubles. Who are we to tell God you are not giving us what we need? We need to be thankful for the thorn in our side. Trials reveal to us who we are. Without the chastisement of God we would not understand that we had erred and gone away to our own destruction.
