Wise and Otherwise

Some early Christians did not even consider James to be a Christian letter. One reason for this is that it does not seem to be explicitly Trinitarian. But in this passage, the wisdom coming down from above sounds very much like both the personification of wisdom in Proverbs and like the fruit of the Spirit described by Paul in Galatians 5.
