My Peace I Leave With You

The Lord Jesus continues to comfort His disciples upon the announcement of His departure. They are troubled now, and will be storm tossed within a matter of hours when Jesus is arrested and they scatter. In John 14, Jesus is piling one comforting thought upon another in order to teach them how to endure the trials ahead, for His peace is not the absence of conflict, but rather, peace within the conflict.
