Preaching The Gospel From Genesis

This address looks at the unity, historicity and purpose of the book of Genesis. Whilst there is profit in looking at the various histories of the biblical characters in the book, the overall theme needs to be considered.

Our apologies that the recording cuts abruptly near the end but all that is missing is to say that the book of Genesis is about Christ as are all the OT Scriptures John 5:39-40 - they testify of Christ, so if the Jews were really to keep them they would come to Him (compare also Luke 24:27). Genesis is about the Kingdom of God established in Eden, rebelled against by man and re-established by the Kingdom of grace in Christ leading to the Kingdom of glory for the elect multitude in Him. Plenty about Christ to preach upon.
