Saved!

We are saved – part of defending ourselves against Satan's wiles is remembering that we are redeemed

We are saved by Jesus – there is one Saviour by whom the Triune God rescues His people

We are saved by grace – and thus the pride the Devil tempts us to is undermined

We are saved in a moment – salvation is not a progress or a program but a resurrection

We are saved from the penalty and power of sin – and thus are free from judgment and slavery

We are saved for service – and service is motivated by love and thanksgiving

We are saved to sonship – Christians are both servants and sons

We are saved for glory – as children we are also heirs and will inherit glory

We are saved for sure – God's work of salvation cannot be thwarted
