Class Goals

Goal 1: For those already convinced of the truth of covenantal baptism (that both parents and their children are already members of the visible church and therefore should receive the sign of membership), my hope is to provide you with the necessary historical and biblical framework to better understand what you believe and to enable you to explain it to others.

Goal 2: For those who are new to covenantal baptism or unconvinced of its truth, my hope is that you will come to see both the biblical necessity and blessing of baptizing both believers and their children.

Goal 3: My most important goal, however, is to see the children in our congregation blessed through the receiving of baptism. There is a real spiritual blessing that comes from baptism, and I do not want any child to miss out on all that God has for him or her.
