Who is Michael?
The language of “I had been left there [with nothing to do on account of Michael’s presence] with the kings of Persia” indicates that Gabriel prior to Daniel’s prayer likewise had been assigned to the geographical area which housed Persia in order to work towards God’s ultimate plan for His people there.
