"I Have Set My King On My Holy Hill"

Mark begins his book, "The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God." In saying this, he tells his audience, all that God promised in Psalm 2, the setting of His King on His holy hill, has now come to be. For his cynical audience, Mark provides no less seven witnesses that confirm his announcement that the King has come.
