On the Road to Golgotha

We look at this passage. Our Lord had a long night of agony and Pilate like many in our day wanted nothing to do with Jesus. Yet a small group of women, the Daughters of Jerusalem wept and lamented as our Lord was brought to die. We do not know if they repented but we look at the words of our Savior. Do not weep. Weep. What was it our Lord told them not to shed tears about and what were they told to cry over. We look at these words and the words, If they do these things in the greenwood, what do they do in the dry?
