Be Terrified of Rejecting Jesus Christ

The author of Hebrews, after calling the church to go on together toward Christian maturity, building upon the foundation of Christ, now turns to an intense and terrifying warning against turning away from Jesus Christ. The author warns them that spiritual immaturity may be the beginnings of the path to hell, eternal destruction under God’s righteous judgment.
