As we look at the good works of the believer, we realize that God saves sinners for a purpose. This becomes evident from Jesus words in Matt. 5:13-16. We will look at the two pictures presented there as well as the purpose Jesus used them. Our forefathers also set forth this same idea in the Catechism, Lord's Day 32 and 33.
