Calling, Justification, Glorification

The passage at which we are looking describes three provisions when it comes to salvation: Calling, Justification, Glorification. As we learn to recognize these provisions and to live in light of them we will grow in our walk with God. We will become useful and fruitful “in the true knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 1:8), to borrow a phrase from Peter. In fact, 1 John 2:13 describe the spiritually mature as ones who “know” the Father, a knowledge that would include these benefits.
