Hebrews 4:14-16

Through Christ, our High Priest, we have been perfectly represented to God, we reap the benefits, and now have confidence to go directly to God to receive mercy and grace. If Jesus is your High Priest, you have full access to mercy and grace because He has atoned for your sin. If Jesus is not your High Priest, you will receive no mercy and grace. Do you want to represent yourself to God? Or do you want the Great High Priest to represent you to God?
As we continue to learn about Christ Priestly role, we are going to find that the New Covenant is better than the Old Covenant because The Priest is better; The Priest brings a better sacrifice; The Priest brings His sacrifice to a better place; and The Priest has perfectly represented us to God.
