The Kindness and Severity of God

Jesus reserved some of the most severe language in scripture for the religious elite of Israel and yet showed unbelievable kindness toward the worst of sinners. If we are completely honest, this is not what we'd expect. The Parable of the Two Sons gives us a glimpse into the mind of God and helps us understand both His kindness and His severity.
