Promotion: Life and Death

Paul, the prisoner, reveals his inner conflict. Although his great desire was to depart this life and go to be with Jesus Christ, his confident expectation was that Christ would deliver him physically from immediate execution, and allow him to remain on earth for the purpose of helping the Philippians grow further in the faith. His love for them was evident by his devotion, selflessness and sacrifice.
