Secured by God's Will

The confidence of the Lord's people, whether in times of adversity or times of apparent ease, rests not in those circumstances but in the eternal character of God's redemptive purpose toward them. Only if God can change will His purpose toward His people, chosen in Christ before the foundation of the world, be changed. God is not at a loss to bring to pass that which He has purposed concerning His people. He will bring them all safely home at last.
