Trinity: The Spirit Saving and Sanctifying

As an act of grace, the Triune God purposed (determined) to save a remnant of His creation through the atoning work of God the Son. Scripture teaches, however, that the saving benefits accomplished by Christ on the cross are applied to believers through the work of the Holy Spirit. Salvation was Decreed by the Father, Accomplished by the Son, and is Applied by the Spirit.
