Understanding the Times: 1 John 2:18-19

Purpose: John wants these believers to understand that the mentality that will dominate the final days before the return of Christ is already present in the world, and has even affected their local church, so that they will think clearly about truth.
Proposition: God wants us to be able to discern the times in which we live.
Interrogative: How can we discern the times in which we live?
