Final Parables of the Kingdom

32

It must be very confusing for someone looking for truth when they look at the institute of the Church. Christianity must appear very confusing to them. We see one group ordaining gay bishops and female pastors while other groups are totally against it. We see one aspect of the church endorsing abortion, and promoting worldwide unification of all religions, while other churches oppose it. Some churches support evolution, theistic evolution or something else, while other teach creationism. We see some churches burdened to witness to their friends, family and co-workers by telling them that they need to trust Christ, and yet when we look at the whole of churches we find that many don’t witness at all. Have you ever seen a Catholic Church, Episcopal, Lutheran, United Church of Christ and United Methodist Church go-door-to-door in evangelism? Let alone the fact that few agreed as to how one gets to heaven. Some churches will say in order to be saved you need to be baptized. While many mainline churches teach that we’re all going to heaven. To some churches the bible is a myth, a book of stories attempting to explain from a human standpoint what God and heaven must be like. While others believe the Bible is the true Word of God and it is without error. How can all these groups claim to know Christ and be so different? Jesus explains what we are seeing in the final four parable of the kingdom of heaven.
