FOUR ERRORS OF THE WFC DOCTRINAL STATEMENT ON THE CHURCH, CHAPT. 25
1.The words "universal" and "church" are words with opposite meanings.
2.there is an un-scriptural mixture of terms to their church. They claim the church of the NT is a continual of the church of OT. Yet the church of the OT is never call the Bride or Body of Christ. This is exclusive terminology of the NT church.
3.There is an un-scriptural definition of who compose the church (they say, "those who PROFESS true religion and their children." The Bible teaches only born again believers.
4. There is the erroneous joining together of the doctrine of the church and the subject of salvation. Church membership does does not include salvation. Salvation is a prerequisite for church membership. This false teaching has led to persecution towards those who disagree with their doctrine of the church.
