These false teachers spring up from the congregation of the church, because the people want to be entertained and emotional. They want their felt needs met. They need a life coach, not a pastor. They want a impact outreach coordinator. A wellness and spirituality mentor. A visionary director, A campus life director. Beloved we just need a Biblical man of God and we need to know who they are.
When examining the Qualifications of an elder, Aspiration is the responsibility of the overseer. Qualifications are how those who aspire can judge themselves. But, qualifications are the responsibility of the congregation to teach, mentor and examine.
