The Son: Full of Grace & Truth

27

The Word—the Son of God—was made flesh by being born of a woman. The Word was made flesh.
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
He is the "only begotten of the Father." The Bible says He is also "full of grace and truth."
The believers trusted in Jesus for salvation. It was not the miracles they trusted in or His wonderful works they trusted in; they saw the glory of God as the Word was made flesh. Moses, Joshua, Elijah, Elisha and even the Devil all wrought miracles, but none of these men was equal to the Son of God. Other men have taught wonderful things, but none of them was the Son of God. In Jesus, the people saw a man who was FULL of grace and truth—100%—they knew this was God manifest in the flesh. They trusted in God knowing that all others born of women have come short of the glory of God.
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
They saw HIS GLORY which showed He was the only begotten of the Father. The Apostles watched Him, Pilate examined Him, Judas—the Devil who betrayed Him, all said that they knew there was no fault in Him.
