Bear One Another's Burdens

The reality is that the lives of Christians are attended by a variety of burdens which are oppressive, perplexing and exhausting. While the world of unbelievers may respond to burdens by escapist preoccupations, chemicals, a cultivated stoicism or pseudo fortitude, brethren in Christ's churches are to draw near and put a shoulder under the weighty burden of another. Burden bearing may take various forms but it requires a large heart, humility and real interest in the welfare of brethren.
