Job faced the loss of all of his wealth, power, prestige, honor, and even all ten of his children. His faith was being tested. Satan was trying to prove that his faith was not really in God but in possessions. God knew Job's faith was real and that he would overcome Satan's testing. Job overcame Satan by faith and brought great glory to God before all angels and men.
