Full Surrender to Christ (Shimei)

This is a message about the constant need of revival and surrender to Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ died so that we may live, and this message is one of urging you to lay hold afresh and anew of Jesus Christ. Act tonight and every night and day as if you've just been saved. This is a message to restore your enthusiasm and zeal. We do not lack knowledge. But I do believe it is quite easy to lose our first love!

After Absalom's death, there was a delay in bringing David back as king. Three kinds of people welcome him.
 Shimei, a rebel, surrenders to David, and David has mercy on him.
 Mephibosheth, Jonathan's son, earnestly sought David's renewed friendship, and was willing to sacrifice everything to stay with David.
 Then we have Barzillai who never wavered in his unwavering service for David.

Tonight we are going to focus on Shimei's absolute surrender to David.
