Higher Education - The Way Jesus Did It

Higher education lacks the components of relationship, life integration, and the focus on faith and character. Because education has lost the heart of what God intends in a good education, it is corrupted.

But what happens when seminaries follow the humanist pattern that rejects these essential elements of a godly education? What happens when seminary professors do not focus on the faith and character of their students? The results of such a lapse may be the root of what has corrupted the Christian church in Scotland, England, and America. When the churches break down, the culture follows.

In this interview with Dr. R.C. Sproul Jr., we begin to unravel 800 year traditions in higher education. We're asking the basic questions here. How would Jesus mentor a man? How would Jesus prepare a man for ministry? He gave 12 men a three-year program, but none of them obtained an M.Div.
