Christ's continual cleansing

Sin in the life of a Christian is an awful thing. It is worse than we know, more varied than we admit, multiplied beyond calculation,
and more aggravated than we understand.

But, if we walk in the light, then the blood of God's Son, Jesus Christ, is cleansing us from all transgression. We must face the awful fact of our sin, and confess it before God, rejoicing in the fact that the blood of the Lord Jesus is continually making us clean.
