God's Glory in Our Peril

As Paul teaches the Corinthians, he remembers times of great peril he faced. He, the super-apostle, despaired even of life during some of these times. However, two things also does he note: God delivered him, and his fellow believers participated in that deliverance through their prayers for him! While it is ok to desire to be spared from peril and pain, and to pray for that, God can take center stage if and when they do come!
