Our Call to Be Faithful with the Truth

The thinking of the day infiltrating the Church is that there is no absolute truth and even what the Bible says, and means, cannot be known for certain. If God has not been clear and objective in what He has said then man can use his own subjective reasoning to come up with its meaning and relevance. If God has spoken clearly and objectively, and He has, then man has a responsibility to it. This attempt to shirk responsibility and undermine the authority of God and His Word, hopes to remove the guilt that comes from defying it. It will prove to be unsuccessful and have eternally destructive consequences for those who stay its course.

Behind the scenes of this postmodern way of thinking is the evil one promoting yet another scheme to keep people from knowing the Truth that will set them free from his death grip. The deceptiveness with which he makes his appeal to man's desire to feel good and have his personal story be relevant is leading many astray.

What God has said in communicating His Word - which is unchanging Truth - is as necessary for man to know Him and live out a personal relationship with Him today, as it was when He spoke it. Nothing man does changes what it means or the power it has to change man.

Such a deceitful approach with the Word of God makes it all the more imperative for the true Church - to be the pillar and support of the Truth.
