The Destiny of God's People

This message is the third in our series on Saul. It looks at a remarkable episode as Saul is used by God to free the men of Jabesh Gilead from the attacks of Nahash the Ammonite.

The message looks at the main characters in the story, and challenges listeners to compare themselves with first Saul, then the men of Jabesh Gilead, then with Nahash the Ammonite.

At it's heart, the message challenges those who are not yet saved, but are 'close' to believing. It challenges them to count the cost - the cost of becoming a Christian, but also the cost of remaining in sin.

The message has three main points:

1. Will you stand up for God's reputation?
2. Will you surrender to great temptation?
3. Will you suffer in condemnation?
