God's people are consistent people

This is the fourth of our series on the life of Saul. It finds him starting to slide into sin. There are many similarities between this chapter where Saul fails so badly, and chapter 11 where Saul is used remarkably by God. But why does Saul get it so badly wrong here, and what lessons can we learn to protect our own soul?

This message identifies three reasons for Saul's disobediance:

1. He lacked fear of God's power
2. He lacked faith in God's promises
3. He lacked fulfilment in God's presence
