If we find any spiritual force or heavenward power beyond what is reported in the Bible, I think we can do without it. Certainly, it must be such a sham that we are better without it. The Scriptures in their own sphere are like God in the universe – all-sufficient. All the light and power the mind of man can need in spiritual things is revealed in Scripture. But all these things when they are reproved by the light are made manifest, for the light is that which manifests everything (Ephesians 5:13).
