In the forest of excuses

It's easy to get lost in a forest. Everything looks the same. A lack of landmarks to identify where you are at. The trees all look identical and they grow so tall that they strangle the light before it can reach down to you. This happens spiritually to us as well, and soon we find ourselves with a host of excuses to give up.
