A Definition of Preaching - Part One

The first part of my definition of preaching is the basic statement: Preaching is God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, communicating His truth in our world to people in the pews through human instruments. This definition follows 1 Peter 1:22-25 where Peter calls the truth of God distilled from Scripture an imperishable seed by means of which men and women are born again. This truth, Peter says, "is the word which was preached to you."
