An Anchored Soul

Just having finished his statement of confidence in the Hebrew's past work and faith, the author of Hebrews cites the encouraging circumstances of the Abrahamic Covenant. The power behind the covenant is that it was sworn not based on the word of man, who is a liar, but on the name of God whose word is true.
