The Life of Judas is a very sad one. It provides for us a stark warning against the presumption of mere outward religion makes us fit for heaven. Judas was so close to the Saviour, witnessed and experienced so much yet had nothing. Dr Cairn's preaching on on the life of Judas entitled his sermon - 'the man who kissed heaven and went to Hell'.
